![]() ![]() I found that the microphone level microphone was set to 0. My last port of call was the Windows sound device control panel. ![]() ![]() I checked the actual recording software and tried a different recording device which actually showed full audio level. I checked each individual cable and cable connection (it ends in a USB connection to my computer). The other day I discovered that the recording levels were actually negligible. It's reasonably complex to allow the position Mark in the audio and the movement to the next slide in the deck to happen without having to break the flow of the narration. I have a particular microphone set up that I use for making a narrated PowerPoint decks using a sophisticated piece of recording software that allows me to mark the sound file so that I can then split the file so that exported portions can be directly linked to the slides in the deck (rather than embedding them). In each case the software is able to be tied to a particular device regardless of the default settings within Windows sound manager. I have 5 microphone input devices on my system. ![]() I don't think that this is really a DNS problem, I could be wrong :-). I see that you are using Windows 7 and a USB sound pod headset. ![]()
